  SMX® Evaluation Kits

These are complete evaluation kits that can be compiled, downloaded, and run on specified targets. Each comes with demos for the SMX products it contains. However, you can replace demo code with your own code in order to try working with our products, to test their performance, etc. Some products are not included in any evaluation kits, such as our USB Host and Device stacks and File System. For these, please see our Demos Page.

To get started please follow these steps:
  1. Choose the evaluation kit from the list that best matches your requirements. If you do not find exactly what you need, contact us to see if an alternative is available or if we are currently supporting the hardware you have.
  2. Download it by clicking on the evaluation kit number.
  3. Register.
  4. Fill in, sign, and fax (or scan and email) our Evaluation Agreement. The password will be emailed to you soon after we review your agreement.
  5. Install the evaluation kit and follow the instructions.


Free support is provided during the 30-day evaluation period. So, if you have trouble, email support@smxrtos.com or call Technical Support at 714-437-7333.
